I really appreciate their efforts.
This is a big success for us. As a small token of appreciation, I am donation 100 dollars now.
Once we cross Aug 17, IV should seriously think of how to resolve the backlogs of I-485 and also should think of new people who need to file I-485.

I certainly expected a better articulated reply than a brilliant one-liner.
Anyways, not sure why you are so hung up on the person being illegal so she deserves what she got line. You may have to step back and look at what the larger trend here is. You and I can be the next target (see slippery slope article below).

I read that he is here since 2007 and card production has been ordered, we are here since 2000 on H1B with no end in sight. Really painful
If anyone gets year 1800's labour legally through their employer I would not find it problamatic. If someone gets it illegally by paying money or something I would call it wrong.
Most people who escaped the common class were smart to identify the undefined territories of the law. So legal fine, ILLEGAL wrong.

I just talked to a NSC representative and he told me that my case is sent to extended review. Now what is this extended review?
Well, what annoys and confused me is that when I took Info pass day before yesterday she told me that my case is with IO. And now NSC rep is giving me another version called extended review.
Don't know whom to believe.

I think this is the best idea that I have seen on the forum so far. Out of all of them so far....rallies, flowers, pizzas . Really speaking, if this action is indorsed by IV, this would be great. I think this is doable and does not require any change in existing rules about visas. I am all for it and many thanks for the suggestion.

I think that the IV core is aware of this campaign. They are not against it, as far as I understand, though obviously, there is no direct endorsement from them either.
I think this is a great idea to get media attention - something different and unique, and media always loves these things. The only thing that can doom it to failure is lack of enough numbers.
If we go and tell a journalist about this campaign, the first question we will be asked is, "how many flowers are you talking about?" and if our answer would 50 or 100, then the story dies right there. 250,000 affected skilled immigrants and only 100 of them are enthu enough to send flowers - well that's no story :rolleyes:.
So the only thing I can say is that at worst, this action will do you no harm and you will be out of 30-40 dollars. But at best, this can give us a media spotlight - and I think it is worth it.

This is just my guess:
It doesnt mean we dont see approvals.
They may have counted all the cases assigned to IO's? or to be assigned cases too? You may still see approvals, it is just that, if your case is not picked up by an IO, you will have to wait till october 1st.
My case is not assigned to IO as of august 8th.

In addition to moral blindness, your visual impairment also seems to extend to the physical realm preventing you from even reading the responses to your post.
And you need to do better than just posting links to ACLU and other left leaning websites if you want to forcibly argue your point. Somebody in this forum was pointing out how the majority here seem to favor illegal immigrants. Let me point out that Apraio was elected democratically in 1996, 2000, 2004 and 2008. Apparently voters in his county have a different point of view about illegal immigrants and have no problems voting him again repeatedly.

Weird situation, I decided to call the 800# and got a nice lady who unfortunately spoke very fast for me to grasp.
I mentioned that Since my 140 approval in Jan '09 and as Primary applicant who received a 2nd fingerprinting notice (completed on 5th July 09) and my wife never received any notice.
When I mentioned that I have not received any case updates at all no LUD's even. She checked her systems and said I can see your case is transferred to VSC in Feb '09 and they are currently processing July 24, 2006 you case is within the time frame for processing. When I mentioned that my case has gone from NSV -->TSV -->VSC she could say no more except that they are within the processing time frame. She couldn't give any more details if the case is pre-adjudicated or not.
I mean what the point of PD if their are processing at their schedule and if every transfer means a new shift in dates. I got to get an infopass appointment since the dates are current for me next month.
Sucks just when i wanted to shift houses and now lawyers says wait since your dates are current do not risk doing AR-11

All I did was posting it in August EB2 India/China approvals thread about what I read and heard from an IO. Just to inform people. This visas are not available only for India/China and not for other countries????
If people think it is not appropriate, the admins can delete all the related posts and threads.
