Your case may be preadjudicated.....(if at all that is actually true)....yet it does not stop USCIS from sending an RFE for anything especially it has been over a few months since they last saw ur case....and once an RFE is issued you again go back in the list and the wait continues to next year when the window again opens for a short time.
It is absolutely nonsense that preadjudicated cases are in a pile waiting for visa number...this is from my attorney....USCIS can issue n number of RFEs.....and each time it is issued it furthers the chance of green....

hello guys, i just went through all the 6 pages but still am confused.

one every US document including SSN, License, Job, its listed as FNU Ravneet.

I'm not sure if I'm eligible to apply for Master's quota. I'm done with all my degree requirements and I've scheduled my thesis defence on MAy 20th. Is it still possible that I can apply in Master's quota. I've a letter from my schools which states that I'm done with all my degree requirements and I'll be finishing thesis on May 20th. Is this letter enough to apply for MAsters??
since master's quota is still available, you can apply now. some lawyers say you can apply with that letter from school.Later if you get RFE you can submit your masters degree at that time. Anyways talk to your lawyer

The collection so far shows 33.33% of the $60K target as of December 11th.
Friends I pledge a $500 donation as soon as the figures reaches 500 less than halfway ... i.e $29,500 and another again once the figure reaches 500 less of $60,000 i.e $59,500. How do you come to these conclusions what congress intended. AC21's main provisions were to recapture unused visas for certain years; extend h-1b beyond six years; allow someone to change a job after 485 pending for more then six months; allow unused visas to be allocated to oversubscribed countries on a quarterly basis rather then in the fourth quarter.
I came to the conclusion just based on section INA 202 (a) (5) (A). Nothing more nothing less. You came to funny conclusion of "quaterly basis".
EMPLOYMENT-BASED IMMIGRANTS NOT SUBJECT TO PER COUNTRY LIMITATION IF ADDITIONAL VISAS AVAILABLE- If the total number of visas available under paragraph (1), (2), (3), (4), or (5) of section 203(b) for a calendar quarter exceeds the number of qualified immigrants who may otherwise be issued such visas, the visas made available under that paragraph shall be issued without regard to the numerical limitation under paragraph (2) of this subsection during the remainder of the calendar quarter.
You are critizising H1B indians and their employer screwing the system which is not relevent to what we are talking here. If you feel so, then attack who ever spoiling the system and regulate those. Instead you are trying to justify your interperataion is right and what DOS is doing is right. I will be the happiest person if they ban labor subsitution and ban desi consulting companies or H1B dependent employer participating in GC sponsering. Then this mess might have not happened.

My lawyer applied for my visa an 23rd Apr under the masters cap. I haven't received The receipt yet. I am wondering if there is anyone on the similar lines. Please reply or is it only me with one such case. I know USCIS has said that they need till 2nd June to resolve the situation. My case is with the vermont center.
I also have my OPT case pending there. It was filed in the first week of May. I have been told that it takes around 90 days for it but sometimes it also takes place early. Please advise.

Thats what my question is. I think they just replied to cough up $5K from us.
This is just delaying techniques by USCIS. I think they are assuming that no one is going to pay this much amount and they can hide the BS they are doing!
