Why cannot they just say it?. Why can’t they say that it will take 2 days to 22 days or 222 days to transfer the amount?, if someone needs to send money due to an emergency, they do it thinking that the money will be transferred in two or three days, a week maybe…
Beats me! I don't know why they (the indians) do that. They make agressive promises and then fail to meet them. They should adopt the US business style of promising results in 5-7 business days and then deliver in 3-4 days. It then becomes the customer's headache to plan accordingly and they (the customers) are in fact delighted to get the work done in 3-4 days.
(Never mind the fact that the work would actually take them less than 1-2 bus day ;))

The selfish brats who have EAD's and are acting ignorant, remember if something goes wrong you could be stuck on EAD's for another 5- 10 years. I checked my former approved H1Bs and found:
1) The Sept. 2000 approved H1B with LUD of June 2007
2) The Feb.2003 approved H1B with LUD 0f April 2006
For both cases, it seems the status is the same as when it was approved in Sept. 2000 and Feb. 2003, nothing new. Maybe these are automatic updates by the computer system.

I second that. Who knows to accomodate these cases judge might ask congressional approval for recapturing the lost visa numbers.
I think it's better to file now, if your PD is recent.
Now that USCIS / DOS know that they have made mistake and also aware that this is exposed to the entire country. So this is what they are doing.
1. Keep all the applications pending so that AILF could not start the lawsuit. ALIF needs rejection proof.
2. Updated their site stating the receipt notice will be sent after Aug 1st, So everyone keeps quiet till this date.
3. I beleive, the Judge will rule out by July 29 saying that itis fault of DOS / USCIS and say they have to accept all the applications which are filed in July leaving the applicants only two days to file.
4. No one can argue that all the ELIGIBLE applicants should be allowed to file. The reason is NOT all the eligible applicants filed in June. Also if you feel that you are eligible for July, then you should have prepared all your application papers ready by July 29. If you cannot file, you are out.
I feel, this is what is going to happen. So better prepare your papers and keep it ready.

Every bank is here to make money. I do transfer money through SBI and ICICI , didn't find any difference as far as rates are concerned. Services at ICICI are much better than Sarkari SBI. At least you can do many things with ICICI by sitting here rather than SBI.

I highly doubt that the White called Mr. Bradman abou this name check. white house has other things to worry about that then simply getting ones name check cleared. White has nothing to do with name checks. If it did, my mothers case would have been cleard a long time ago. She is stuck for the past 3 years. She is over 60. i contacted the white house last year. Its a very tough business to calculate the dates or numbers...
First of all nobody gives an actuall count of cases accurately...
Nobody know how many cases pending with USCIS...Nobody knows
how much would be PD based distribution...Nobody knows how many
people got LC but who cant apply for I485 because of retrogression..
We always thought that there is 360k application in BEC and since those LC have PD from 2000 to 2005 there are no chances of fast movement of PD in year 2007 especially for EB3 and EB2(Indian , China).
After reading this news it seems employer withdrew many cases, which they filled for employee who no longer work for company, so certified case is going to be only 100k, much lesser then 360 k. How many more years it will take to clear these 100k LC? I don't think it should take more then 2 years...
But you know logic doesn�t work with US immigration system and we also don�t know how many people are applying through EB1 and EB2-ROW, which are current, we also don't know how many people are already sitting in 485 stage�
